He earned his B.S. degree cum laude in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from 1959 to 1963. He completed his Master in Business Administration degree stressing courses in accounting and finance in 1963 to 1965 from Harvard Business School. He also awarded with Doctor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Harvard Business School under Ford Foundation Fellowship from 1965 to 1968. From 1975 to 1976, he was Vice President, Corporate M.I.S. and Office of the Vice Chairman in The Chase Manhattan Bank. In that period of time, he was responsible for $ 3.5 million division with staff of 171 people, including operation of loan management system, creation of bank-wide information systems and systems planning. Since 1976 to at present, he is the president of Jonathan A. Cunitz & Company.
