Jonathan Harris Burroughs

Dr. Jonathan Harris Burroughs, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.H.E., F.A.C.P.E. completed his graduation from Johns Hopkins University, and MD from Case Western Reserve University, and a healthcare MBA with honours from the Isenberg School of Management. He is a certified healthcare and physician executive. Dr. Burroughs specialises in Medical Management besides also focus on Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, Hospital Negligence, Medical Staff Affairs, Credentialing/Privileging, Peer Review, Quality & Patient Safety, Physician Performance Management, and Physician Contracts. He has been practised for more than 43 years. He is working with some of the nation’s top healthcare consulting organizations to provide ‘best practice’ solutions. He also provides training to healthcare organizations throughout the country in the areas of governance, physician-hospital alignment strategies, credentialing, privileging, peer review and performance improvement/patient safety, medical staff development planning, strategic planning, physician performance and behaviour management. In 2014, he received a grant from American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) to develop a twelve-hour national program to address population health and the disruptive innovative business models necessary to support it and also received a grant from ACHE to develop 12-hour programs in “Ways in which Executives can Collaborate to Achieve Optimize Clinical and Business Outcomes” and “How to Monetize Quality in a Pay for Value World.” In 2016 he was honoured by James A. Hamilton Award for outstanding healthcare management book, The Complete Guide to FPPE. He published an article on September 12, 2012, which name was "Preventing Hospital Readmissions-It's Harder than it Looks" regarding hospital impact.
