Jon Nicolaos Meliones

Dr. Jon Nicolaos Meliones M.D., M.S., F.C.C.M. is a pediatric cardiology expert witness from Texas. He also has expertise in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He has an active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Texas. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He finished his schooling from the Waltham High School at Waltham, Massachusetts, and then completed his B.A. in 1980 from the Bowdoin College at Brunswick, Maine, and then earned his medical degree in 1984 from the Tufts University School of Medicine at Boston, Massachusetts. He is further completed his M.S. in Statistics & Data Analysis from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then pursued his residency in Pediatrics in 1987 of Boston Floating Hospital from the Tufts University of School of Medicine at Boston, Massachusetts. He also pursued his fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care at the C. S. Mott Children's Hospital of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Michigan. Currently, Dr. Meliones is Professor of Pediatrics, Medical Director of Life Flight, Medical Director of Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Medical Director Pediatric Transitional Care Unit at the Duke University Medical Center of North Carolina. He is also a President of SCCM Carolina/Virginia Chapter from the State of North Carolina & Virginia and a Medical Director of Pediatrics North Carolina Organ Procurement Association at State of North Carolina. He is a Fellow in the American College of Critical Care Medicine. He has few publications to his credit.
