He then completed internship in 1962 and residency in 1966 from the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and the Hahnemann Hospital & Medical College at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, Dr. Shane is Clinical Professor of Pathology at the Penn State University in Hershey Medical Center. He also serves as the Adjunct Professor of Pathology at the Allegheny University at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also has few publications to his credit. He resides in Pennsylvania.
