John Milam Shamoun

Dr. John Milam Shamoun, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a plastic surgery expert witness from California. He also has expertise in general surgery, aesthetic and cosmetic plastic surgery. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of California, Texas and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He completed his B.S. in 1982 from the University of Mississippi, Oxford, Mississippi and then earned his M.D. with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors in 1986 from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He then pursued his residency in General Surgery from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine, Mobile, Alabama. He further pursued his residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from the Southwestern Medical School. He also pursued his internship in General Surgery in 1987 from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Shamoun is a plastic surgeon at MemorialCare Orange Coast Memorial Medical Centre and Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and is affiliated with multiple hospitals. He also maintains his private practice at Newport Beach, California. He has few publications to his credit. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
