John Bernard McCabe

Dr. John Bernard McCabe M.D., F.A.C.E.P.is an Undersea & Hyperbaric medicine specialist with offices in Cazenovia, NY and Syracuse, NYSyracuse, NY and has been practicing for 38 years. Dr. McCabe is Professor and Chair Emeritus in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of University Hospital and Senior Vice President for Hospital Affairs at the Upstate Medical University. He served in multiple leadership roles nationally, including president of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), president of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), chair of the board of directors of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), editor of the journal Resuscitation, as well as being listed regularly on Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of top physician leaders of healthcare institutions.He also has few publications to his credit.
