Dr. John H. Johnson IV, Ph.D., is an accomplished economist and thought leader with a wealth of experience in economics, data analysis, and public policy. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1999, after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Rochester in 1995.
Dr. Johnson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Edgeworth Economics, a role he has held since 2009, and the CEO and Co-Founder of Edgeworth Analytics, established in 2019. He is also a prominent keynote speaker in the field of data interpretation. In addition to his executive roles, Dr. Johnson serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy since 2022, continuing his commitment to teaching and mentoring the next generation of economists. His earlier career includes significant leadership experience, such as serving as Vice President at National Economic Research Associates (2001–2003), and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois.
