Since 2003, Dr. Greene has maintained private practices in both general and forensic psychiatry, providing psychiatric treatment, competency evaluations, sanity assessments, sexual offense evaluations, fitness-for-duty assessments, threat assessments, and independent medical evaluations in civil and criminal matters. His forensic work includes longstanding service on court panels in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties, with prior panel appointments in San Mateo, Alameda, and Napa Counties. He also directed the creation of a court clinic within Santa Clara County Superior Court to facilitate timely court-ordered evaluations.
His clinical and administrative experience includes prior roles at Napa State Hospital, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Agnews Developmental Center, and Summit Estate Recovery Center. Dr. Greene has also held adjunct faculty appointments in Stanford University’s Department of Psychiatry since 2005 and has published on forensic psychiatry, disability evaluations, psychiatric malpractice, and legal issues in psychiatric practice.
