Dr. John Wilder Baker, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a bariatric surgery expert witness from Louisiana. He has medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Louisiana and Arkansas and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Baker completed his B.S. in 1981 and his M.D. in 1983 from the Louisiana State University Shreveport and the Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport via the Six-Year Accelerated MD Program. He further completed his internship and residency from the LSU Hospital where he also served as the Chief Resident. Currently, Dr. Baker practices at Tulane University Health Sciences Center. He is also affiliated with the Tulane Medical Center and the University Medical Center. Dr. Baker is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also has several publications to his credit.
