Jill Marjorie Baren

Dr. Jill Marjorie Baren M.D., F.A.C.E.P., F.A.A.P. is a pediatric emergency medicine expert witness from Pennsylvania. He also has expertise in emergency medicine. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He finished his B.S. in Biochemistry in 1983 from the Brown University and then earned his M.D. in 1989 from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. He completed his masters at the Center for Bioethics in the Department of Medical Ethics at the College of Arts and Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania. He then pursued his transitional internship and residency in Emergency Medicine of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center at Torrance, California. Currently, Dr. Baren is Professor of Emergency Medicine and Professor of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the Hospital of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine in Pennsylvania. He is Attending Physician in the department of Emergency Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, also under the department of Pediatrics at division of Emergency Medicine from The Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania. He is also director of pediatric Emergency Medicine Education in Emergency Medicine Residency at the department of Emergency Medicine from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Perelman School of Medicine, chairman of Emergency Services from the University of Pennsylvania Health System; he is also an Interim Chairman at the department of Emergency Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a currently member of the Freshman Medical Student Recipient for Summer fellowship in Rural Psychiatry. He has few publications to his credit.
