Dr. Jeremy Michael Veenstra-Vanderweele, M.D. is a Psychobiology and Psychiatry expert witness from New York. He earned his M.D. in 2001 from Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. Then he completed his residency and his fellowships from the University of Chicago Hospitals. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Currently, Dr. Veenstra-Vanderweele is the Suzanne Crosby Murphy Professor of Developmental Neuropsychiatry at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Additionally, he is the Director of the Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI), and Columbia University. He is also Co-Director of both the NIMH T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship for Translational Research in Child Psychiatric Disorders and the Whitaker Scholar Program in Developmental Neuropsychiatry at NYSPI/Columbia University Medical Center.
