Dr. Jeffrey Brian Mendel, M.D. is a radiology expert witness from Massachusetts. He also has expertise in diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine and tomography. He has active licenses from the states of Maine and New Hampshire and is certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Mendel completed his Sc.B. in 1973 from Brown University at Providence, Rhode Island and then earned his M.D. in 1977 from the Tufts University School of Medicine at Boston, Massachusetts. He then pursued his internship in internal medicine and residency in radiology from the Norwalk Hospital at Norwalk, Connecticut and Hospital of St. Raphael at New Haven, Connecticut. He also served as the Chief Resident during his tenure of residency at Hospital of St. Raphael. He further pursued his fellowship in Joint Program in Nuclear Medicine from the Harvard Medical School at Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, Dr. Mendel is the Staff Radiologist and Radiation Safety Officer at Parkland Medical Center. He has numerous publications to his credit. He is also the deputy chief editor of the Journal of Global Radiology.
