Jeffrey Stuart Janofsky

Dr. Jeffrey Stuart Janofsky M.D. is a psychiatry expert witness from Maryland. He also has expertise in forensic psychiatry. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in 1979 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and then earned his Medical Degree in 1982 from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He further completed his internship in Psychiatry in 1983 from the Baltimore City Hospitals in Baltimore, Maryland. He also pursued his residency in Psychiatry from The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He had completed his fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry from The University of Maryland, School of Medicine at Baltimore, Maryland. Currently, Dr. Janofsky is the Private Practice of Forensic and Clinical Psychiatry at Timonium, Maryland, and Assistant Director of Pre-trial screening under the District Court for Baltimore City. He is presently fellow member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and Law in Medical Director, a member of the American Psychiatric Association in Psychiatry and Law, a member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as a Committee on Subspecialty Certification in Forensic Psychiatry and also a member of the Maryland Psychiatric Society in Legislative Committee. He also has several publications and honors to his credit.
