Dr. Broker is the Owner of Echelon Biomechanics (formerly Biomechanics Engineering), a position he has held since 1991. He is also an Associate Professor of Biomechanics in the Department of Human Physiology and Nutrition at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where he previously served as Chair of the Biology Department. In addition, he has served as an Advisor in Sport Biomechanics for the United States Olympic Committee since 2001. Earlier in his career, he was a Sport Biomechanist with the United States Olympic Committee, Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University, Research Associate and Associate Engineer at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Development/Assistant Project Engineer at Garrett AiResearch. Dr. Broker has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in biomechanics, musculoskeletal injury, anatomy, and exercise science.
