Dr. Jeffrey R. Balzer, Ph.D., is a clinical neurophysiologist expert witness from Pennsylvania. He has expertise in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral blood flow and effects of exercise on cerebrovascular function. He completed his B.S., in Behavioral Neuroscience in 1984 and M.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience in 1989 from the University of Pittsburgh. Subsequently, he completed his Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience in 1994 from the University of Pittsburgh. He further completed a fellowship in 1994 from the University of Pittsburgh. Currently, he is the Director of Clinical Operations and Staff Clinical Neurophysiologist at the Center for Clinical Neurophysiology and Director of the Cerebral Blood Flow Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Formerly he also affiliated at the Excela Health System, the Jameson Hospital, the Monongahela Valley Hospital, the UPMC Altoona, the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, the UPMC Hamot and the UPMC Shadyside. He also has many publications to his credit. He resides in Pennsylvania.
