Dr. Jed Baron Gorlin M.D. is a pediatrics and blood banking and transfusion medicine expert witness from Minnesota. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1978 from Stanford University and then earned his M.D. in 1982 from Yale University. He further completed his internship and residency at the Children's Hospital and then completed his fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gorlin also completed his M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business. He has physician’s licenses from the states of Minnesota and Massachusetts and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pathology.
Currently, Dr. Gorlin is the Medical Director of Community Blood Center at Kansas City. He is also the Associate Clinical Professor of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Minnesota and is the Co-Director of Transfusion Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center and the Children's Hospitals and Clinics.
