Dr. Jay Donald Mabrey, M.D. is an orthopedic surgery expert witness from Texas. After completing his schooling in 1973 from Howland High at Warren, Ohio, he completed his B.A. in Biochemistry in 1977 from the Cornell University at Ithaca, New York and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1981 from the Cornell University Medical College at New York City, New York. He further completed his internship, residency and fellowship from the Duke University Medical Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery. He has a physician's license from the state of Texas and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Mabrey is the Chief of the Department of Orthopaedics at the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, Texas. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the Orthopaedic Devices Panel at FDA.
