Dr. Jay Adam Gottfried, M.D., Ph.D., is a neurology expert witness from Pennsylvania. He earned his B.A. in 1989 from Princeton University and then earned his Ph.D. in 1997 and his M.D. in 1997 from New York University. He further completed his internship from Mount Sinai Medical Center and completed his residency from University of Pennsylvania. He has a physician’s license from the state of Pennsylvania and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Currently, Dr. Gottfried is the Arthur H. Rubenstein University Professor at Penn Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is the Adjunct Professor of Neurology (Behavioral Neurology) at Northwestern University.
He has additional knowledge in alzheimer's disease, anterograde amnesia, behavioral issues in dementia, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, cognitive impairment, corticobasal syndrome (cbs), dementia with lewy bodies, diagnostic test, expressive language disorder, frontal lobe disinhibition, memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, neurodegenerative diseases, neuropsychological assessment, pick's disease (frontotemporal dementia), progressive supranuclear palsy (psp) and vascular neurocognitive disorder.
