Jay Standford Ellis

Dr. Jay Stanford Ellis, Jr., M.D. is an anesthesiologist expert witness from Texas. He has active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Texas. He is also certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed his Bachelor of Science in 1978 from United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1982 from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed residency in 1985 from Wilford Hall Medical Center and fellowship in in Pain Management and Regional Anesthesia in 1985 from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine in 1986 from Wilford Hall Medical Center respectively. He also served as chief resident during his tenure of residency. Currently, he maintains the Private Practice as an Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Physician at River City Anesthesia Division of Tejas Anesthesia. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Anesthesiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. Formerly, Dr. Ellis was a Vice-President at Tejas Anesthesia. During his military service he served as Chief Military Consultant for Anesthesiology to the Air Force Surgeon General and also a Commander to the 59th Surgical Operations Squadron. He served as Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He also has several publications to his credit. He resides at Texas.
