Dr. James John Walter, M.D. is an emergency medicine expert witness from Illinois. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Illinois and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his B.A. in 1970 from the Holy Cross College, Worcester, Massachusetts and then earned his M.S.W. in 1972 from the Fordham Graduate School of Social Service, New York. He then pursued his M.D in 1979 from the Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. He further pursued his residency in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine from Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Centre and the University of Chicago respectively. Currently, Dr. Walter is an emergency medicine physician at the University of Chicago Medical Centre. He is also a medical director at the Chicago South EMS System, EMS Region XI. He has several publications to his credit. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians since 1987 and also a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, American College of Physicians and Chicago Patient Safety Forum.
