James Paul Shaffer

Dr. James Paul Shaffer, M.D. is Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Internal Medicine Expert witness from Rockledge, Florida. Dr. Shaffer completed Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in June, 1992. Dr. Shaffer did Master of Health Administration from College of Public Health and Health Professions, University of Florida located at Gainesville, Florida in July 2005. He was Chief Medical Resident of the Department of Internal Medicine of The Ohio State University Medical Center at Columbus, Ohio from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Shaffer was a Fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center from 1997 to 2000. He did Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency from The Ohio State University Medical Center and The Columbus Children's Hospital in 1996. He completed Bachelor of Arts from Malone College at Canton, Ohio in April, 1988. Dr. Shaffer has Board certification from The American Board of Internal Medicine, The American Board of Pediatrics, The American Board of Internal Medicine/Pulmonary Diseases, The American Board of Internal Medicine/Critical Care Medicine and The American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Shaffer was Fellow of American College of Chest Physicians in November, 2000 and Fellow of American Academy of Sleep Medicine in May, 2002. He is currently the Medical Director of Health First Sleep Disorders Center and the Medical Director of Space Coast Sleep Disorders Center. Dr. Shaffer is the Founder of Health First Pulmonary and Critical Care.
