Dr.JamesMarkham Ph.D., J.D., C.P.C.U., M.S.B.A.is an economist from Pennsylvania. He has an active license from the state ofPennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree atBrandeis University in the year 1976where he obtained a B.A. in economics, he completed his J.D. at Villanova University School of Law in 1979. He further completed his MBA and MS in Finance from Temple University in 1985. He then completed Associate in Claims (AIC) in 1985, Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) in 1988 and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1988 from theAmerican Institute for CPCU/Insurance Institute of America. Finally, he completed his Ph.D. in economics from University of Delaware in the year 2009. Currently he is a senior economist at the Center for Forensic Economic Studies.Prior to joining the Center, he served as Senior Vice President and head of the curriculum department at the American Institute for CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter), where he developed many of the Institute's academic courses and programs. He has also worked as a liability claims examiner and has practiced law.
