Dr. Ha has been affiliated with the University of Washington for more than three decades. He currently serves as a Research Full Professor in the Department of Psychology, a position he has held since 2013. Before that, he was a Research Associate Professor and Research Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and the Washington National Primate Research Center.
His work has focused on animal behavior, primate colony management, behavioral genetics, social behavior, breeding programs, and applied animal behavior. From 2004 to the present, he has been credentialed as a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist by the Animal Behavior Society. He also served as Director of the Breeding Colony Management Division at the Washington National Primate Research Center from 2010 through 2014.
