With over 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Crosby currently serves as the Director of Canine Encounter Training at the National Law Enforcement Center on Animal Abuse, where he is a Subject Matter Expert on canine aggression, law enforcement interactions with dogs, and public safety. He has also been a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant, specializing in dog aggression and dog-related fatalities, since 1999. His previous roles include Division Manager at Bay County Animal Control and Animal Care and Protective Services in Jacksonville, Florida, as well as a distinguished career in law enforcement with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant.
