Dr. Irvin Mark Modlin, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., F.RC.S. (Ed.), F.C.S. (SA), M.D. (Hon Causa, Gothenberg), M.A. (Hon Causa, Yale) is a surgery expert witness from Connecticut. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Connecticut, California and New York. He is also certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his schooling from the Keble School at London, England and then earned his M.B., Ch.B. Cum Laude in 1968 from the South African College, at Cape Town, South Africa and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1968 from the University of Cape Town. He then completed his academic degrees M.B., Ch.B. Cum Laudein 1968 at Cape Town, South Africa, F.C.S. (South Africa) in 1975, M.A. (Hon Causa) Yale in 1987, Ph.D., Cape Town in 1989, M.D. (Hon Causa) Goteborg, Sweden in 1991 and D.S.c (South Africa) in 2005. Currently, Dr. Modlin is the Professor of Department of Surgery and Director of Gastric Surgical Pathobiology Research Group at the Yale University School of Medicine. He resides at Connecticut.
