Dr. Shane’s academic career includes notable positions as an Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont and the University of New Hampshire, and as an Associate Professor at Emerson College and Harvard Medical School. He has also held significant roles in Otology and Laryngology at Harvard Medical School and MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has served in various leadership roles, including Director of the Monarch School for Children, Director of the Model Autism Program at Boston Public Schools, and Director of the Center for Communication Enhancement at Boston Children's Hospital. His work has been instrumental in developing innovative programs and services for children with communication disorders.
