Dr. Howard Philip Levy M.D., Ph.D. is a clinical genetics and internal medicine expert witness from Maryland. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1984 from theUniversity of Maryland and then earned his Ph.D. in Human Genetics in 1991 and his M.D. in 1992 from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He further completed his residency at Boston University Medical Center and then completed his fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. He has a physician’s license from the state of Maryland and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Levy is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine and the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine at Johns Hopkins University and is the co-Chair of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Patient/Family Centered Design Team. He is also the Chief Medical Information Officer at Maryland Primary Care Physicians.
