He is certified Internist and Rheumatologist from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1983 and in 1986 respectively. He is Professor in Department of Medicine at New York University, Grossman School of Medicine. He is also Director in Infusion Services, New York University, Langone Orthopedic Center and Medical Director, New York University Langone Orthopedic Hospital. He has authored article in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Rheumatology, Arthritis & Rheumatology, Lupus, and the New England Journal of Medicine. Additionally, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York Rheumatism Association, and on the Board of Governors of the New York Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. He is widely recognized as a leader in the research and clinical fields of rheumatology.
