Dr. Howard Lyle Beaton, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a surgery expert witness from New York. He has active medical practitioner’s license from the state of New York. He is also certified by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his B.A. in Physics in 1972 from the Yale University at New Haven, Connecticut and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1976 from the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry at Rochester, New York. He then completed internship in 1980 from the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and residency in Surgical Oncology in 1981 from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He also served as Chief Resident during his tenure of residency. Currently, he is the Attending and Chairman of Department of Surgery at the North General Hospital and also the Attending in Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and the New York Downtown Hospital. He also serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the Clinical Lecturer in Physician Assistant Studies at the Pace University. Dr. Beaton is a Fellow of the American College Of Surgeons. He also has several publications to his credit. He resides in New York with his wife Betty Beaton.org
