Dr. Heather Whitt Walker M.D. is a physical medicine and spinal cord injury expert witness from South Carolina. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Evansville and then earned her M.D. in 2002 from the University of Kentucky. She further completed her internship at Methodist Hospital and her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She then completed her fellowship at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. She has physician’s licenses from the states of North Carolina and South Carolina and is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Currently, Dr. Walker is the Program Director of Neuroscience Services at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital. She is also an Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine.
Dr. Walker has additional knowledge in brain injuries and rehabilitation.
