He then pursued his Masters in Medical Management from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and American College of Physician Executives, New Orleans, Louisiana. He also pursued his Family Practice Residency under the Department of Family Medicine from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland in 1985. Currently, Dr. Strothers is a Professor of Family Medicine under Morehouse School of Medicine. He also currently the Medical Director of Georgia Enhanced Care/APS Healthcare Georgia. Dr. Strothers is an employee of the National Center for Primary Care as a member of the Geriatric Team Leader. He is currently Associate Chair for Academic Programs. He had a Faculty Development Fellowship under the Department of Family Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine. He also has several publications and honors to his credit.
