Special Agent Hakeem Oduniyi is a narcotics and firearms expert with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), where he has served since March 2020. He completed the DEA’s 14-week Basic Agent Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and has received advanced training in undercover drug enforcement and financial investigations. Prior to joining the DEA, he served approximately six years with the Gulfport Police Department as a patrol officer, Street Crimes Unit member, and Narcotics Detective, conducting nearly 200 drug investigations and over 100 firearms investigations. He also served as a Homeland Security Investigations Task Force Officer on complex federal narcotics cases.

SA Oduniyi has participated in more than 30 federal narcotics investigations, executed over 40 search warrants, served as an undercover buy officer, and been the affiant on four wire interception affidavits. He has extensive experience with electronic surveillance, confidential informants, coded drug language, and trafficking methods, and has testified in state court proceedings.
