Dr. Gregory Francis Welch, Ph.D. is a computer science expert witness from Florida. He completed his B.S. in 1986 from Purdue University. Then he earned his M.S. in 1995 and his Ph.D. in 1997 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Currently, Dr. Welch is the Pegasus Professor and the Advent Health Endowed Chair in Healthcare Simulation, and the co-director of Synthetic Reality Lab at the University of Central Florida. Prior to this, he was the Research Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Senior Engineer at Northrop Defense Systems Division. Further before that, he was the Member of Technical Staff at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Roadie/Sound-Light Technician at Shadowfax / Brittania Row Productions.
