Dr. Gregory Benson Hammer, M.D. is a pediatric critical care expert witness from California. He also has expertise in pediatrics and anesthesiology. He completed his schooling in 1973 from the Phillips Academy at Andover, Massachusetts. He then completed his B.S. with honors in 1977 from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin and then earned his M.D. with honors in 1982 from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois. He then completed his first residency in 1985 and his second residency in 1987 from the Department of Pediatrics, Children's Hospital Medical Center at Oakland, California and the Department of Anesthesia, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He further completed his fellowship in 1988 from the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Currently, he is the Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics, Stanford University School of Medicine and the Associate Director of the Pediatric ICU at Stanford Children’s Health, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, California. He has led few researches and has many publications to his credit. He is also the member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
