Gregory William W. Chen

Gregory William Chen, M.D. is an Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist in Chicago, Illinois. He is affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He has been founding physicians of Progressive Care for Women in downtown Chicago, board-certified gynecologist and he offers over 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. He has received his Bachelor of Science from Duke University from 1982 to 1985. He has earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1985 to 1989. He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida where he was named Chief Resident from 1989 to 1993. After completion of his residency, Dr. Chen became an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and is currently an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. At Progressive Care for Women, Dr. Chen is known for his expertise in infertility evaluation and treatment. He also has a special interest in abnormal PAP smears, gynecologic ultrasound, and sexual health. He is board certified from American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1995. He is certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring from National Certification Corporation since 2009. He had medical licensure in the State of Florida since 1989 and in the State of Illinois since 1993.
