He completed his Medical School from AB Indiana University and Temple University, in 1965, also he completes his MS (Pharmacology) from Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN, then 1970 he completed his combined Degree Program in Experimental Science from MD Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN, As well he completed his Internship from Temple University, in 1970-1971, and after doing his internship he passes through from Residency in Internal Medicine, USPHS Hospital in affiliation with Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, and NCI, in 1971-1973, in the same year he done his Resident, Massachusetts General Hospital; and Fellow, Harvard Medical School, Radiation Medicine/Oncology and then earned his M.D. in 1977 from the Clinical Pharmacology, Massachusetts General Hospital. His present position in Medical Officer, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, FDA Grade. He was also a member of the Director of Oncology, New Hope Cancer Center. Dr. Sokol published lots of things, here the most recent one is Mazer, M, Sokol, G, and Cantilena, L. A Review of FDA Overdose Treatment and Toxicity Data, Accepted for presentation ASCPT, March 2013, Washington, DC. He was respected by some may HONORS/AWARDS. His most recent award is Emeritus Board of Directors, American Cancer Society, and Life Board Member American Cancer Society, both 2005.
