Dr. George Marion Rodgers, III, M.D., Ph.D. is a physician based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He did his Bachelors in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University in 1970. He is board certified in Hematology and Internal Medicine. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1976. He did his Internship and Residency from Baylor College of Medicine. He received his Doctorate in Pharmacology from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1974. He completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at University of California, San Francisco, Cancer Research Institute from 1979 to 1982. He holds the position of Medical Director, Coagulation Laboratory, University Hospital, University of Utah Medical Center and Associated Regional & University Pathologists, Salt Lake City, Utah since January 1990. He is the present Co-Director, Mountain States Regional Hemophilia Center, University of Utah Medical Center. He served as a Hematologist at Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia Comprehensive Treatment Center, University of Utah Health Sciences Center, Salt Lake City, Utah since 1997. He is affiliated with Primary Children's Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Rodgers is a member of American Society of Hematology, American Federation for Clinical Research, American Heart Association. His research interest includes Physiological regulation of hemostasis, Procoagulant activities of vascular endothelium and role of coagulation in arteriosclerosis. He has been an Associate Editor for Wintrobe's Clinical Hematology and has also authored and co-authored numerous publications. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Utah.
