Dr. George Kevin Gillian, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a surgery expert witness from Virginia. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Virginia and Maryland and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Gillian completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology in 1988 from the Duke University at Durham, North Carolina and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1992 from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine. He further completed his residency and fellowship from the University of Missouri-Columbia, the Western Pennsylvania Hospital and the Minimally Invasive Surgical Training Institute. Currently, Dr. Gillian is a physician at the Virginia Heartburn and Hernia Institute. He also serves as a physician at the Inova Alexandria Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College Of Surgeons. Dr. Gillian also has several publications to his credit. He has keen interests in foreign travel, wine tasting, piano, football, fly fishing and metal sculpture.
