He previously served as Compliance Director at Orleans Parish Jail, where he oversaw implementation of a federal Consent Judgment, developed over 100 new jail policies, and significantly reduced institutional violence.

He has held academic roles teaching performance management and leadership, and has worked with entities like the Criminal Justice Institute and the Association of State Correctional Administrators.
