He has also been the Chief Resident in General Surgery at Department of General Surgery, Wayne State University in 1991. He has been the Associate Attending Surgeon at the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Long Island Jewish Medical Centre in New York. He has active medical licenses in New York and New Jersey.
