He pursued his residency in Child Neurology from Massachusetts General Hospital at Boston, Massachusetts, residency in Adult Neurology from the University of Western Ontario at London, Ontario, and residency in Pediatrics from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario. He completed his fellowship in Thrombosis and Clinical Research Methodology from Hamilton Civic Hospitals Research Center and McMaster University at Hamilton, Ontario. He also completed a Pediatric Neurorehabilitation and Electromyography fellowship from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, Dr. deVeber is a Professor under the Department of Pediatrics from the University of Toronto in Ontario. Also, he is a Senior Scientist of Child Health Evaluative Sciences and Neuroscience and Mental Health Programs from the Hospital for Sick Children Research Institute in Toronto, Ontario. Presently he had a fellowship in Clinical Research from the American Academy of Neurology. He is a fellow member of the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons Canada. He also has several publications and honors to his credit.
