He earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Oklahoma in 1972 and his Medical Doctorate from the same institution in 1976. Dr. McBride completed his internship and residency at the University of Utah’s affiliated hospitals, where he also conducted significant research in orthopedic biomechanics and spine stabilization and Dr. McBride has contributed to the field with a focus on scoliosis and spine surgery, notably completing a fellowship in Scoliosis at the Twin Cities Scoliosis Center. He is board certified in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Spine Surgery, with continued active certification.
