Frederick Reed Murtagh

Dr. Frederick Reed Murtagh M.D. is a diagnostic radiology expert witness from Florida. His clinical expertise includes general radiology and neuroradiology. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Florida. He is also certified by the American Board of Radiology. He completed his B.A. from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in the year 1966 and then earned his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in 1971. He completed an internship in General Surgery from the North Carolina Memorial Hospital at the University of North Carolina. He further completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He also served the military where he served as General Medical Officer at the United States Naval Hospital in Key West, Florida. He was honorably discharged in 1974 from the military. Currently, Dr. Murtagh is a Professor at University of South Florida College of Medicine & H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. He also maintains his practice at the University Diagnostic Institute in Tampa, Florida. He has several publications to his credit.
