Currently, Dr. Liverpool serves as the President of Clear Choices Counseling Services, a full-service outpatient mental health facility in Southfield, Michigan, which he founded in 1999. In this role, he leads a multidisciplinary team providing treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and marriage and family counseling, with a particular focus on premarital and marital therapy. In addition to his clinical practice, he has served as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University, the University of Detroit Mercy, and Spring Arbor University.

Beyond his counseling career, Dr. Liverpool is an ordained minister who served congregations in Guyana, Canada, and the United States before retiring from pastoral ministry after 14 years with the Lake Region Conference in Detroit. He has been recognized with the Thomas C. Rumble Fellowship and the Graduate Professional Scholarship from Wayne State University. Dr. Liverpool is a member of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors, the American Counseling Association, and the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association. He also previously served as President and Board Member of Proving Innocence, a Detroit-based organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals.
