Dr. Eric Lowell Singman, M.D., Ph.D. is a neuroopthalmology expert witness from Maryland. His expertise also includes ophthalmology, neuroscience and brain injuries. He has a medical practitioner’s license from the state of Maryland and Texas and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Singman completed his B.A in Chemistry from the Brooklyn College and then earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in 1992 from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center and the Downstate School of Graduate Studies. He further completed his residency and fellowship from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Singman is the Chief of the Patient Access Center for the Eye at the John Hopkins Medicine and the Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the John Hopkins University, School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the General Eye Service Clinic of the Wilmer Eye Institute at the John Hopkins University, School of Medicine. He has several publications to his credit.
