Earlier in his career, Dr. Kaplan was the Medical Director at Charter Hospital of Pasco, where he oversaw adult and substance dependence programs and chaired both the Quality Assurance and Patient Care Committees. In addition to his private practice in general and forensic psychiatry since 1990, Dr. Kaplan has been an Affiliate Faculty Member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of South Florida School of Medicine.
