Elizabeth Anne Vitarbo

Elizabeth Anne Vitarbo, M.D. is a neurosurgeon in Orange Park, Florida. She had various subspecialties includes Glioblastoma, Brain Tumor, Craniotomy, Back Injuries, Laminectomy, Head and Neck Disorder, Aneurysm, Stroke, Brain Surgery. She is Board Certified in Neurosurgery and Neuro-critical Care. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1997, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She completed her neurological surgery residency and a NIH funded Neuro-trauma research fellowship at the University of Miami in 2004. Since 2006, she was on staff at UF Health Jacksonville, where she served in the capacity of Director of Neuro-trauma, and was integral in the establishment of the Neuro-intensive Care Unit. She specializes in Neuro-trauma, both surgical and medical management, and brings a wealth of experience to patients with a variety of disorders of the nervous system involving the spine, brain and peripheral nerves. In additional to providing a broad range of neurosurgical care, she serves as an integral member of the neurosurgical and trauma medical staff, providing essential neurosurgical care for life threatening trauma related occurrences.
