Dr. Edward S. Peters, D.M.D., S.M., Sc.D. is a epidemiology expert witness from Louisiana. He earned his B.A. in 1985 from Clark University and then earned his D.M.D. in 1990 from University of Connecticut. He further completed his S.M. in 1993 and then earned his Sc.D. in 1999 from Harvard University. He has a physician’s license from the states of Louisiana and Massachusetts.

Currently, Dr. Peters is the Professor and Chair in the Department of Epidemiology, College of Public Health at University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to this, he was the Professor and Chair in Epidemiology Program at LSU School of Public Health.

He has additional knowledge in molecular and biologic heterogeneity, susceptibility of cancer and other chronic diseases.
