Dr. Edward Howard Kaplan, M.D. is a hematology expert witness from Illinois. He completed his B.S. in Biology in 1978 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana and then earned his M.D. in 1982 from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine. He further completed his internship, residency and his fellowship at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He has a physician's license from the state of Illinois and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Kaplan is the Chairman of the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Rush North Shore Medical Center. Additionally, he is the Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois.
