He was Assistant Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine for the year of 1985 to 1990. He also received Distinguished Teacher Award in 1990 from Indiana University Medical Center, Department of Medicine. He has been America's Top Doctors for Cancer for the years 2009 to 2013. He has numerous publications to his credit.
